Beer List -

Any tasting notes that appear against the beers are the personal opinions of the authors. If the authors disagree on any aspect then their initials appear before their individual opinion.

Double Blonde - 1.5% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - Surprisingly good table beer. Very light, very easy to drink and with a definite ale character.

La Gaumaise Blonde - 5% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1991.
Tasting Notes - Unsensational beer with a distinct Wallonian character but little to make it stand out. Strange but pleasant herbal quality tries but doesn't quite get through.

La Gaumaise Brune - 5% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1991.
Tasting Notes - Nose promises more than is delivered. Bland.

Speciale - 2.5% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1960.
Tasting Notes - Quality table beer, easy to drink with an amazing taste for its category and a very unusual level of spicing.

Spéciale La 1900 - 8% alc/vol

Super Brune - 1.17% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - Disappointing. Sweet and sickly with little ale character.

Unic Bier - 3.5% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1970.
Tasting Notes - A little strong for a table beer but the spicy hop character make it stand head and shoulders above most others.
