Any tasting notes that appear against the beers are the personal opinions of the authors. If the authors disagree on any aspect then their initials appear before their individual opinion.

Hercule - 9% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - Well balanced stout with a great texture and a thick, warming richness that can prove tiresome after a few glasses.

Quintine Ambrée - 8.5% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - One dimensional with an overbearing tannic malt.

Quintine Blonde - 8% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - Characterful, very dry and hoppy ale with a nice soft texture.

Quintine de Noël - 8.5% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - Essentially an ordinary Quintine with darker malts. Rich, full, finish makes it quite good as an after dinner beer.

Saisis - 6.2% alc/vol

Saison 2000 - 6.5% alc/vol

Tasting Notes - Much like the Ambrée but with a healthy hopping which helped lift it from the Ambrée's over-fruity character. Good well balanced beer with a strong fruit countered by generous dose of hops and a light lacticity.
