Any tasting notes that appear against the beers are the personal opinions of the authors. If the authors disagree on any aspect then their initials appear before their individual opinion.

Armoise - 5% alc/vol

Blanche de Charleville - 4.8% alc/vol

Islay - 5% alc/vol

Oubliette - 5.3% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1998.
Tasting Notes - Very interesting variation on an English ale. Strongly hopped but not bitter. Served in perfect condition. KR: A light tartness, though unusual in an English ale, is a welcome change and gives it an almost summery

L'Oubliette Blonde - 5% alc/vol

Stoutbliette - 4.3% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1998.
Tasting Notes - Wonderful smooth texture and perfect conditioning plus all the right "stout" characteristics in the right proportions make this a truly excellent stout. It has an extremely full taste for a relatively weak beer and the palate is strong enough to deter those who do not like drinking stout but will seriously impress those that do.
