Ambrée - 6.2% alc/vol View Label
15 Kb
Comments - First brewed 1986. Brewery describes it as a beer in the pale ale style.
Tasting Notes - Most definitely an uncompromising beer that unfortunately is almost one-dimensional - dry. Untypical of
French beers there is almost no sweetness coming through and the malt in the palate never gets to balance the dryness.
Bière de Mars - 6.3% alc/vol
Tasting Notes - JW: A palate with some unusual tastes is let down by the very strong finish. KR: Thin with a narrow
breadth of interest. Distinct twang in the first few mouthfuls but quenching and quite clean.
La Blanches de Lille - 4.6% alc/vol View
Label 15 Kb
Comments - First brewed 1987.
Tasting Notes - A stronger hop element than in Belgian white beers and a good, full palate which has a distinct
delineation from the finish which is overly dry for a white beer.
Blonde - 5.2% alc/vol View Label 12
Kb
Comments - First brewed 1986. Brewery describes it as a top fermenting lager.
Tasting Notes - A bizarre beer for a Blonde. It has a nice soft and creamy texture cut through by a fair bit of fizz. There is
an interesting use of hop giving a surprisingly light bitterness for the amount of dryness. An interesting but ultimately unsatisfying
Brune - 6.3% alc/vol
Comments - First brewed 1986. Brewery describes it as being in the Scotch ale style.
Tasting Notes - Has an excellent creamy texture and a reasonably balanced palate with a pleasant layer of chocolate in
the roast malt. KR: Unlike the Blonde and Ambrée, this has enough dark malt character to help balance the dryness.
La Haute du Père Noël - 6.2% alc/vol

Comments - First brewed 1994.
